Force India to exit administration in ‘two or three weeks’

Force India is expected to exit administration within the next three weeks following a fresh investment this morning.

A group of investors, led by Lance Stroll’s father Lawrence, have saved the team after it went into administration just before the Hungarian Grand Prix a fortnight ago.

Lead Administrator Geoff Rowley told Sky Sports F1 all 405 jobs at the team have been saved following “significant funding” from new investors.

Lawrence Stroll’s effective acquisition of Force India fuels the theory that his 19-year-old son and current Williams driver Lance Stroll will join the team in 2019.
