Former Formula 1 driver Johnny Herbert expects Lance Stroll to drive for Racing Point Force India in next weekend’s Italian Grand Prix.
During the summer break, a consortium of investors led by Lawrence Stroll rescued Force India from administration and changed the team’s name to Racing Point Force India.
Speaking during Sky Sports F1’s FP1 coverage for the Belgian Grand Prix, Herbert said he would “probably expect” Lawrence’s son Lance to be in the car by Monza.
Racing Point Force India begins this weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix with 0 Constructors Championship points because the team is officially a new entrant to F1.
