Renault Sport Managing Director Cyril Abiteboul says Ferrari’s sudden surge in PU performance over the last month has left the French manufacturer scratching their heads.

Ferrari introduced a major PU update in last month’s Canadian Grand Prix and has been adding to their package in the five races that have followed.

He did later add the suddenness of Ferrari’s performance increase has been “strange”, but made a particular note that this doesn’t necessarily make the change illegal.
