Ricciardo demanding $66 million for new contract

Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo is asking for a pay rise if he joins Mercedes or Ferrari for the 2019 Formula 1 season.

Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport says Daniel Ricciardo is demanding $66 million USD for a new two-year contract at Mercedes or Ferrari.

Ricciardo’s contract with Red Bull expires at the end of the current season.

2019 Driver Market rumours suggest neither Mercedes nor Ferrari has the room to accommodate this year’s Monaco Grand Prix winner.
