Mercedes & Ferrari both claim German GP home advantage

The German Grand Prix promises to be an interesting race considering both Mercedes and Ferrari could call it a ‘home’ race in a sense.

Both Mercedes & Ferrari will have a slice of home advantage to push them forward in this weekend’s German Grand Prix.

Ferrari driver and World Championship Leader Sebastian Vettel was born and raised in the Heppenheim region of Germany.

On the other hand, Mercedes was founded in 1926 by as a division of German automobile manufacturer, Daimler AG.

Just 20 points currently separate the two heavyweights in the Constructors Championship with two races still to go before the summer break.
