Daniel Ricciardo says Red Bull’s victory in last week’s Austrian Grand Prix is giving the team hope of something in today’s British Grand Prix.

After qualifying 5th in Spielberg, a good start and Mercedes’ unreliability ensured Max Verstappen secured his maiden victory of the 2018 season.

“In Austria we didn’t really seem that fast but in the race we turned it around which gives us some optimism,” Daniel Ricciardo said.

Verstappen said he’s expecting a “hard” race at Silverstone, but added his belief that luck could move the team forward.

Red Bull will start 5th and 6th when the #BritishGP gets underway at 2:10pm local time.
