Eric Boullier resigns from McLaren-Renault

Eric Boullier has resigned from Racing Director of McLaren-Renault, saying it was the “right time” to step aside.

“I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the entire team to thank Eric for his service and contribution to McLaren,” McLaren’s CEO Zak Brown said.
Former Champ Car driver Gil de Ferran will head the new simplified technical management team.
McLaren’s underperformance in the 2018 Formula 1 season caused the management to restructure and Brown said this is the “first step on our road to recovery.”
