Mercedes praise Hamilton’s French GP win

Lewis Hamilton has been praised by Mercedes bosses after his dominant win in Sunday’s French Grand Prix.

Mercedes Team Principal Toto Wolff described the win as “perfect” and complimented Hamilton’s ability to bounce back from a disappointing P5 last fortnight’s Canadian Grand Prix.
The thoughts were echoed by the team’s Technical Director, James Allison, who said that Hamilton’s drive was “splendid” and “faultless”.
Hamilton said he took a new constructive approach to this weekend and was thankful to get a much-needed result, which has left him with 14 point lead in the Drivers World Championship.
